The 33 Project
Late again. This past week involved a significant increase of editing work that sucked hours and hours away from me. I swear creating a rhythm and routine for writing *seems* so easy but of course, is not! Oh well. Here are some recommendations to excite and intrigue you for the week ahead.
1/ This is a wonderful initiative from the National Film Board of Canada. The Curve is a collection of short films, made all across Canada. Filmmakers showcase humanity through a variety of videos all made during the Pandemic, with social distancing orders in effect.
It’s pretty cool to see so many artists creating during such distressing times. You’re guaranteed to find a film you can relate to or enjoy from this rich library.
2/ This is a wild story about a mysterious man. It’s a gripping exploration of how cold cases can be handled in 2020 and how technology impacts human needs and behaviors. I’m not usually too excited by these types of stories, but in this case, I’m eager for an answer!!
3/ This interview with AOC is a great read for any progressive American trying to wrap their minds around what’s next. I guess you don’t have to be a progressive American to read it, but it’s a great resource, so to speak, for a progressive trying to articulate thoughts on maintaining the fight for a better country. She hits it…
