Morning readers. Just going to canon ball into this weeks recommendations.

1/ This is one of the only two pieces I read on last weekends Oscars. The obvious story is the slap, but I was far more interested in the other ways the show disappointed. I think a lot of the criticism expressed here is fair and I, too, wish the focus was on movie making.
